.... CONCERNED CHRISTIANS COMMITTED TO COMPASSIONATE CARING

You Can Help

There are 4 ways you can be a part of our ministry:

  1. You can become a prayer partner
  2. You can volunteer your time and talent
  3. You can become a regular financial supporter
  4. You can provide tangible property or "gifts -in-kind"

Contributions from groups or individuals are the lifeline of our ministry. We gladly accept one time gifts, but we encourage a simple pledge of $10 over 12 months, or whatever amount you would like to give monthly. If you would like to make a pledge or give a one time contribution, contact the Mission office at the address and telephone number at the bottom of this page, or email the director. If you have a printer, you can CLICK ON THIS LINK and print out a form you can fill out and send in with your pledge or contribution.

Donations of many food and personal care items, certain types of clothing or furniture are always welcome. Call the Christian Clothing Center for donation pick-ups at 828-652-1410.

Volunteers are the heart of the Christian ministry. We are committed to providing opportunities of service which provide a structure which is both productive and creative. Opportunities include interviewing prospective clients, fund raising, providing counseling services, supporting the administrative office, grant application processing, or assisting in the day to day operation of the food pantry and clothes closet. For additional information on policies regarding volunteers, contact the Mission office at the address, phone, or email listed at the bottom of this page.

How We Are Funded

We receive financial support from McDowell United Way, individuals, churches, businesses and foundations, and an Emergency Shelter Grant from the State of North Carolina.  As a non-profit organization, your gifts are tax deductible, and are always appreciated.
